Know which pools need a visit this week
Your district already knows where its pools are. Nidus Reveal images them every week and reports the condition each one is in, so crews go to the water that is producing mosquitoes and skip the water that does not need them.
Water sources across the whole district, every week
Residential swimming pools are tracked today. Each one is classified as maintained, unmaintained, or dry, and compared against its own baseline and every week since.
The same method runs against agricultural water and other sources that change over time, and it extends to any water body large enough for satellite imagery to resolve. Containers and catch basins sit below that size, which is why they stay with the field crew.
Imagery
A high-resolution baseline captures the whole area of interest, and from there the district is imaged on a weekly cadence rather than the routes you happen to run.
Detection
Every pool is compared against its own baseline and against every prior week, so a sustained change stands out from a passing one.
Report
Pools that changed arrive as a ranked list, likeliest problem first, with address, coordinates, status, and the date of change.
What you receive
- A baseline inventory of the district's pools, with address and coordinates
- Weekly condition reports through the season, ranked so the likeliest problems come first
- Imagery mosaics available to your GIS through a tile server
- CSV output that loads into the tools you already use, including FieldSeeker and MapVision
Why weekly
A pool that turns green is producing mosquitoes within days. A weekly report closes the gap between a property changing and a crew standing at it, which is what makes source reduction work inside a season rather than after it.
It also makes compliance answers fast. When an owner says they drained it, the next capture shows whether they did.
An addition to what your district already knows
Reveal feeds the same system your district works in. Intelligence from FieldSeeker, MapVision, and the records you already keep stays live alongside it, and your crews and your judgment stay at the center of the work.
Every detection becomes part of the district's record
Reveal delivers a weekly list. Core turns that list into the district's operational record: each detection becomes a site, the visit and the notice attach to it, and the history carries into next season so the same pool does not cost you twice.
What a weekly report can and cannot tell you
A cloudy week can miss a capture, and the next clear week picks up from the most recent valid observation. Passing conditions such as a pool cover or a cloudy day are tracked without raising an alert, and only sustained changes are flagged. Detection comes from automated analysis of imagery, which screening-level assessment is subject to canopy, angle, and conditions that imagery cannot see. The final determination always rests with the district.
